Bicycles and bouncy houses

Meredith had a follow-up appointment with the pediatric orthopedist on Monday, and her xrays looked good so he released her to full activities! She was SO excited and celebrated with a chocolate shake on the way home and riding her bike around the block several times. Then last night our neighborhood had a night out party at the park with a bouncy castle which Meredith loved! I don't think she stopped smiling the entire time.

And the triplets got to eat ice cream for the first time, but Melissa declined seconds and thirds, so I guess she wasn't impressed. Yesterday at lunch they had turkey, peaches and greenbeans. After 5 minutes of eating Amanda's plate was clean, Melissa had eaten her meat and a few green beans and peaches, and Claire had eaten all her meat and peaches. They are so different - not just in eating habits but in personality too.

Amanda and Claire can climb on any sofa or chair they want now. They both climbed on the sofa that's pushed up against the window in the living room, and continued climbing up and over and were proudly standing on the window sill. Amazing what they can do while Mommy runs to the restroom.

Meredith can write all hers and her sisters' names now! Check this out (and note that she wrote it with her left hand; she was right-handed before breaking that arm):

And here's a picture of Meredith, Claire, Melissa, Amanda, and Greg on the porch swing:

I'm so glad that Meredith's arm has healed well. I know she was glad to be able to ride her bike again. Tell all the girls that I hope to be able to see them soon.
