All I wanted was one picture...

All I wanted was one good picture for our Christmas cards... So after changing 3 diapers, putting on 4 dresses, 4 pairs of tights, 4 pairs of shoes (well, 3 pairs and then waiting about 10 minutes for Claire to stop throwing her fit b/c she wanted the pair with the bows - she didn't understand that they were too small for her - Claire has the biggest feet of the triplets), we finally head down to where I've set up the black sheet to take pictures. Here's what happened next:

The plan was to spell NOEL, but Claire refuses to hold the O,

Melissa decides she will protest too.

Every one hold your letters up high!
Claire still protesting...

Claire finally takes her O, but Melissa decides she's had enough.
Meredith says, "Mama look how long my arms are!"

Melissa throws the N away, but Claire is helpful and hands it back.

Amanda decides to see if the E will fit on her foot.

Melissa throws the N away again, and Claire thinks this is hilarious.

Hmmm... this O will make a great ankle bracelet...

Just after this picture, the girls all decide to lay down and join Melissa
