Santa told Nana that next year's picture will be beautiful - hopefully they'll be a little more excited to see Santa! The girls did enjoy seeing the lights and "holiday" decorations at the mall. I guess it's been a really long time since I've been to a mall during the Christmas season; I was really disappointed at how few Christmas decorations they had. Some lights hanging from the ceiling, some big wreaths hanging from the ceiling in open areas, but that was it. Not too long ago we'd go to the mall at Christmas time and there would be Christmas trees, animated displays with elves and Santa... Anyways, the girls seemed to have a good time. And Meredith rode the escalator about a dozen times with GrandBob- she had never done that before! (we don't get out much, can you tell?)
