The triplets recently became aware of a terrible injustice. Meredith had syrup for her waffle, and they did not. Amanda was the first to notice. After several minutes of her hollering, I realized she wanted a plate like Meredith's. Of course after Amanda got a plate, Claire and Melissa wanted one too! But not happy yet - Amanda points to the little cup part of the plate and says, "Right here!" So syrup all around...
Just a couple weeks ago, the triplets sat at the table and ate corn chex while everyone else had Christmas cookies, cake and ice cream. Guess it's the end of an era.
Funny thing is, they didn't eat the syrup. Claire just played in it for a minute and then got mad that her hands were sticky. Melissa tore her waffle into small pieces, dunked them in the syrup one at a time, and laid them on her tray. Amanda just looked at it for a minute and then happily ate her dry waffle.
