We're back!

We're back from our Christmas travels... after celebrating Christmas here with Greg's family, we spent a week with my family. I'll try to post some pictures soon. But now, we're back home and into our 'normal' routines. If you can call it normal! Here is a recap of our car trip yesterday:

Laura: Amanda, put your leg back in your chair - Claire doesn't want it in her lap.
Meredith: Look at the flags - the wind must be blowing hard!
Melissa: Tree!
Laura: Yes Melissa - there's a big green tree! Amanda! Put your leg down!
Claire: AAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Laura: Amanda - where's your toes? Touch your toes! AMANDA - put your leg down!
Meredith: What's Amanda doing?
Laura: Amanda's leg is in Claire's lap (Claire: AAAAAA!!) and Claire doesn't like it. Amanda - put your leg... thank you Amanda.
Melissa: Bear
Amanda: My baby
Laura: Do you have a ... what happened to your baby's clothes? (The doll, the only boy doll we have, was fully clothed when we got in the car)
Claire: My baby
Amanda: MY BABY!
Claire and Amanda: AAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Laura: Claire, Amanda had that baby first - where's your baby?
Melissa: Bear!
Meredith: Why does that car have a red door when the rest of it is white?
Laura: I guess the white door was broken and they could only find a red one to replace it.
Meredith: Oh.
Laura: Amanda, put your foot - thank you.
Meredith: Where did the circus go? (there was a small carnival set up on the road a few weeks ago)
Laura: I guess they packed it up to go somewhere else. Claire - put YOUR leg down! You didn't like it when Amanda's leg was in your lap. Claire, put your leg down. Where's your elbow?
Claire: Belbow! Belbow!
Laura: There's your elbow, now put your toes in your lap please.
Melissa: AAAAA!
Laura: Amanda, Melissa doesn't want your leg in her lap put your leg down. Claire and Amanda - put your legs in your chair!
Meredith: Why are we sitting here so long? Why isn't that car moving? Where's Daddy? When can we go to the beach again? Will it snow soon? I want to make a snowman with a big carrot for his nose. Do I have to go to school tomorrow? I just want it to be Christmas for a little while longer...

And that was only the middle 5 minutes of our drive.... :) Are you exhausted just reading about it?
