Sick!

The sickness is spreading... Claire started with fever (102+) 8 days ago, lasted for 4 days. Amanda started Tuesday night, still waiting for it to break. Melissa started tonight, and I'm sure Meredith won't be far behind! Claire did start antibiotics; the pediatrician said she had a slight ear infection. I took Amanda in Wednesday and again today; she said Amanda's ears were cloudy but no ear infection... yet. Her tonsils and throat were very red and swollen with white blotches on them. So that's what is causing her high fever (around 102). She may or may not start antibiotics depending how the next day or two goes. The pediatrician also said this might be the virus that causes mono... if so we'll have a houseful of fussy kids for the next week or so. Usually when the girls get a cold, they all come down with it within 2 days of each other. Not this time! They're spreading it all out - guess they want me to enjoy it longer.
