Amanda, you make me laugh

Our family room downstairs is long. It is completely open to the dining room (play room, really) which makes it even longer. There is usually nothing in the big open space that runs from the back of the house to the front, except maybe a toy or two... or thrity-seven... and on the family room end is a large sofa placed against the wall under a window. Yesterday morning Amanda was in the playroom end of the room and took off running toward the other end. Top speed - just laughing and smiling the whole way. But as she got closer to the sofa, she never slowed down. She ran full speed into the sofa (thank goodness for large cushioned seats!) and bounced back up with the biggest grin on her face. I still don't know if she had planned that or if it just happened. Either way, she liked it and raced back to the other end to do it again. And again.
