Sep!

(Rhymes with Yep!) Code for "I love you!" After checking out the book Fancy Nancy two weeks ago, Meredith has decided to become a little bit fancy herself! She's started using some fancy words for things, like fuchsia instead of pink, and wanting to wear fancy socks. And for some things she's created her own words. She's declared "Sep" is a fancy way to say I love you. And Greg's decided that's just fine - it'll be a little code she can use as she gets older and too embarrassed to say the L word. Right now it's kind of cute - she'll be playing with her dolls and just holler out "SEP!" at the top of her lungs. And she does still say "I love you mommy"... Greg told her I would probably prefer that; the Seps are directed mostly at Greg.

Have no idea where the word Sep comes from. She's kind of creative when it comes to naming things. Her toy dog on a leash is named Pax, and the toy turtle on a leash is Peaks. Her imaginary twin kids are named Lips and Sarah, she used to have quads and the other two were Oowie and Dooie. Not sure what became of them.

Another funny thing Meredith has declared - career paths for her and her sisters. She has been telling us for quite a while now that she is going to be an astronaut (and now she's added a mommy to that as well, since we've finally convinced her you can be more than one thing!). Melissa is going to be a zoo keeper since she loves animals. Amanda is going to be a mommy. And Claire... well, according to Meredith she's going to be a goat farmer - because she likes to kick!
