The girls are always asking Greg to tell them a story, so yesterday Greg asked Claire to tell him a story. This is what she said...
"Onecie poncie time, there was a little mouse. The mouse went into a cave and closed the door. A big bear bit the mouse and she ran to her mommy."
After a pause, Greg asked her what happened next.
Claire continued, "The mouse's mommy chased the bear away."
Next it was Amanda's turn. She told a similar story, starting with "Onecie poncie", but left out a few parts, and added, "The End."
Next it was Melissa's turn. Even shorter this time, but still a bear in the story - this is Melissa after all! And of course, 'the end'.
When I came back into the room, Greg asked Claire to tell me the story she had told him. Even shorter this time!
"Onecie poncie time, there was a mouse. The end."
