Amanda has fallen into the typical big sister role. Okay, so she's not the oldest, but she is the oldest triplet. At naptime and bedtime she goes to the cribs, gathers the stuffed animals they sleep with and passes them out - knowing who gets which toy. Anytime someone cries, she goes over to try and console them; either patting them on the back or head or offering a toy. She 'talks' to them in a soft, sweet voice. It's very sweet to watch. She even consoled Meredith the other day while she was having a 3-year-old temper tantrum! Didn't work, but she kept on trying. Amanda is often the best at sharing a toy (though she often does want two of everything for herself!). And she understands almost everything we ask her to do!

Sweet story!! It's amazing to think how much they know and understand at that young age.
