Three down, three to go
I had a grand and glorious day Friday at the dentist office getting three cavities filled. And I have the priviledge of returning next Friday to have three more filled. Funny how I made it about 26 years w/o any cavities, then I had one; after having Meredith I had one more, and now I have 6!! Guess the lesson learned here is if you are pregnant with triplets and eating two snacks during the night - brush your teeth after each snack no matter how tired you are.

Ouch!! That's a lot!! When I was about 13 years old, we changed dentists because our old one retired. That's when I discovered I had several cavities. I remember having about three filled at one time, and it took 3 or 4 trips. The worst thing was that the dentist did not use novacaine. I didn't even know it was an option. Very painful!! When I was in college, I went to a new dentist. The first cavity he filled, he just pulled out the needle without asking and gave me a shot. That's when I first discovered that filling cavities didn't have to hurt.
