Backseat Driver

Since Amanda was so sick last Wednesday night, Nana and GrandBob offered to come pick up Meredith Thursday morning and take her to school. Meredith's class was having their big Valentine's party, and she definitely didn't want to miss that! Nana tells me Meredith was quite the backseat driver on the way there...

Meredith: GrandBob, do you know how to get to my school?
GrandBob: Yes, I do.
Nana: Meredith, do you know how to get to your school?
M: Yes!
N: Maybe you can tell GrandBob which way to turn. (Said as GrandBob turns on a street that is a small shortcut - which I only take it if I get stuck behind someone going really, really slow - since it's 2 lane back roads the whole way)
M: IT'S TOO LATE! YOU ALREADY TOOK A WRONG TURN!!!!!!!

Meredith has been a backseat driver for me on occasion too - Drive carefully! Don't get lost! You're driving on the grass!!! (which I'm really not - I think that's all she sees when she looks out her window)
