We're going to the zoo!
Greg was off work yesterday, so we went to the zoo! The girls had a great time, and Meredith just might be right about Melissa being a zoo keeper - she was just elated to see all the different animals, especially the ones she could get really close to. This zoo is a rescue zoo, so it's a bit different from the big zoo we took them to before. They could really get close to many of the animals. The girls had the opportunity to feed some deer, goats, and llamas - but only Meredith and Melissa were willing to let them eat from their hands. Claire threw some food in through the fence. Amanda just held it in her hand (and might have taken a bite herself, though the only proof I have is what looked like soggy animal food on the corner of her mouth - yuck!).
