A Little Time Away...

I haven't posted in a while, because we've been out of town! We're still out of town, but I thought I'd post a few pictures from our trip. We left last Saturday and after two hours in the car stopped at the zoo for lunch and a break, then two more hours in the car and a stop at our friends' house to play and have dinner, then continued our drive for 6 more hours. The girls have had fun playing with Grammy and Grandpa, and Granda and Papa. Melissa seems to be quite fond of her "Grandpapa" and only wants to hold his hand and be carried by him! On Monday we went to an amusement park and water park (yes, we skipped naps!) and the girls had so much fun! We spend the morning and early afternoon riding some rides and after about 8 or 9 rides on the carosel we went to the water park. They had a lot of fun in the wave pool splashing around and then Meredith and Amanda had a blast going down a small water slide. We ended the day with one ride down the 'lazy river' and then a trip to Cici's pizza where Amanda ate 5 pieces of pizza!! Yesterday Meredith and Greg went fishing and she caught two fish. I'll let her tell you how big they are. :) I'll have more pictures soon, but wanted to post a few...

Grammy and Grandpa live on a lake, but since their dock floated away after a huge storm the neighbor said we could use theirs.

Both fish were thrown back in the lake so they could grow a little more.
