Sister, Sister, what do you see?

The girls really love the Eric Carle books - Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What So You Hear? We have one copy of each that get read almost daily, and frequently more than once a day. At the library last week, we checked out the Panda Bear version of the story and it's been read about a dozen times a day ever since! So here's a little spin off of our own...

Meredith, Meredith what do you see?
I see Melissa coloring her hands with markers!

Melissa, Melissa what do you see?
I see Claire climbing on the coffee table!

Claire Bear, Claire Bear what do you see?
I see Amanda wearing MY shoes!

Amanda, Amanda what do you see?
I see Melissa taking my apples!

Daddy, Daddy what do you hear?
I hear sisters reading in my ears!

Mommy, Mommy what do you hear?
I hear sisters singing all day long!

And yes, Melissa did sneak the markers off the kitchen counter and colored on her hands, Claire will hopefully learn one day to stay off the coffee table, Melissa did take Amanda's apple right off her plate and eat it (about 2 weeks ago now, but Amanda is apparently holding a grudge and still mentions it everyday), and the girls often like to put on each other's shoes (especially when it's a pair that actually 'belongs' to a specific child) much to the dismay of the shoes' owner! And we even have a few tattlers among us that love to tell Mommy just what is happening at all times. :) The girls are reading books and singing all day long. I recorded Amanda, Claire and Melissa singing tonight while Meredith was at her swim lesson - I'll try to get that up tomorrow.
