Little Copycats

It's been raining a lot here lately. Yesterday while we were sitting at the breakfast table, Amanda seemed a little quiet and sad so Greg asked her if it had rained on her parade. She replied yes. Later that day when she woke up from her nap, it was raining again. When Greg got her up she immediately said, "Daddy, it rained on my parade."

While doing something a few days ago, I dropped something (I can't remember exactly what) and said, "Oh gosh!" So several times that day I heard Claire say, "Oh gosh!"

So if you come to our house... be careful what you say. :)


An update on our house, Greg's job, etc...
Greg has been at his new job for three weeks now. He comes home for the weekends and the girls have a fun two days of playing outside a lot, and lots of stories from Daddy. Usually they squeeze in a chocolate shake too!

Running up and down our block... Again Daddy! I think they ran from stop sign to stop sign (the length of 6 houses) about 8 or 9 times!

We have a contract on our house here and have gotten the information back from the inspection report. The buyers want us to fix a couple minor things on the A/C unit (most of which Greg can do in about an hour) and then have the house treated for termites as a preventative. Our closing date is November 16th. So let the packing begin! In a few days I'll go up to look for a new house and hopefully we can find one soon and close on it before our closing date here.
