Meredith's preschool teacher last year often said, "You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit." Such wisdom! Meredith frequently repeated it at home when her sisters would have fits, but didn't like it so much when I repeated it while she had a fit!
Claire has her own version she likes to say. "You get and you get, and you don't have a fit."
