Meredith is so excited to be getting a new dog! Not new like a puppy, but new to us. We visited the animal shelter here on Saturday and met a little pug/terrier mix that needed a home. She had just been brought in from a shelter about 100 miles away, where she was on the list to be euthanized. She seems just as sweet as she can be, though she was a bit timid... who wouldn't be when you're only 20 pounds and you're surrounded by a bunch of 60+ pound barking growling dogs! The shelter had to have her spayed before we could bring her home, so on Friday we'll introduce you to Sasha!
This is the picture from the shelter's website... She almost 3 years old, so we're hoping she's past all the chewing and hyperness of a puppy. When Greg walked by her kennel while holding Amanda - who demanded to be held almost the entire time - she said, "That one looks really nice." And Amanda, who is usually a little more timid around dogs went and pet her while we played with her. So that pretty much sold it!

I LOVE SASHA!!!! I am so happy for your family- I hope she fits right in. And Greg grows even more outnumbered... ;)
