Friday morning, we needed to run an errand, so I asked the girls to get their shoes on. Meredith came out with this on...

" Mommy, are these shoes okay?" Pink knit shorts, a t-shirt, navy socks and brown mary-janes. I had just said no to the black dressy mary-janes. I asked her to change and gave her two suggestions - she ended up wearing the navy socks and white tennis shoes. Pick your battles, right?
