We've got two that are almost done with diapers! Whoo-hoooo!! Amanda and Claire are only wearing them at night now, but they've both woken up dry for about 5-6 days in a row now. Wow! Claire held out the longest to start potty training - she refused to even sit on the potty for the first few days. Then I think her competitive nature kicked in and she was the first to go all day with no accidents! On Thursday she started wearing her big girl panties, and she is so very proud of herself. She's had three days in a row now - completely dry! Amanda was only a day later in getting to wear her big girl panties. Now I just need to wean them off the tootsie rolls and M&M's! Melissa is doing great - still an accident or two a day - but she's getting really close!
By the way... we just started this potty training journey at the very beginning of April. I tried a few months ago but they just weren't interested at all, so I gave up. A couple weeks ago I bought a giant bag of tootsie rolls and told them if they pottied, they could have one. That's all I did. No running to the potty every 30-45 minutes and potty watches and silly potty songs and drinking water and juice all day long like I know most of my mommy friends have done, and like I did with Meredith. Just a bag of tootsie rolls...
