Night, Night. Sleep tight.

Naps are come and go these days... I lay the little ones down for "rest" time each afternoon with the lamp on and a stack of books in their bed, and set a timer for 30 minutes. If they're not asleep when the timer goes off, they can come out to play again. If they fall asleep, I usually wake them up after about an hour or so.

Saturday, all three girls fell asleep. Here's Amanda. She always make sure her baby - or whoever she sleeps with - is tucked in too. This time she was sleeping with Buzz Lightyear.

Claire is sleeping with Kumi (which is acutally one of Meredith's prized possessions, but Claire loves this panda bear and sometimes Meredith is kind enough to share). Claire almost always hugs her baby while sleeping.

And Melissa... who sleeps with a zoo. And yes, she knows if someone is missing! She started out sleeping with this little bear (one of a set of three) when she was about one. Then she added the other two bears from the set, and sometime over the last few months her bedtime collection has grown to include:

Rex (from Toy Story)

5 dogs (mommy, daddy, baby, grandma, and grandpa dog)

a cat

a cow

a panda

and the three original bears (mommy, daddy, and baby bear).

Shhhhhh... Sweet dreams
