Yesterday for breakfast, I quartered a large watermelon. I took one of those quarters and began slicing it, took out the black seeds and gave them to the girls one slice at a time. I couldn't keep up! The four of them ate the entire quarter watermelon! And then to top it off the triplets each ate two bowls of Cheerios. One hour later we ran a quick errand - I took a sandwich size ziplock bag full of cheese crackers for them to snack on while we were there - they emptied the bag in record time and were asking for more. We came home and an hour later they ate everything I put on their plates for lunch.

For breakfast a week or so ago, the four girls went through 2 1/2 bananas, three bowls of cantelope, 4 waffles, and 2 whole bagels. Most days though, we just go through 2 bananas and 2 bowls of cantelope, and between 4 and 7 waffles.
After going to the zoo a couple weeks ago, we stopped to get Mexican food (Yum!) and the girls ate 4 tacos, 3 servings of rice, one serving of beans, a large bowl of carrots and a large bowl of pineapple (I brought w/ me), chips and queso, 1 tortilla each, and drank all their milk. We ordered two adult lunch specials for the four girls to share - there was nothing left.
After going swimming last week, Greg stopped by Sonic to pick up burgers. The four girls ate 3 of their $1 burgers (with Amanda and Claire each eating a whole one!), a few fries each, some carrots, some oranges, crackers and a full glass of milk. I think they would have eaten more burgers if we had more!
So much for just ordering one plate for them to split! And I can no longer get away with bringing food for the triplets and just sharing a little from my plate! The wouldn't stand for it! I still do bring some veggies and fruit for them to start eating when we get there - this helps hold them over from the time we order to the time our food actually comes.
So as you can imagine, eating out is not a common occurance! Our favorite places to eat out right now are buffets - where the kids eat free!! We have a Chinese buffet we like to go to, and we love Souper Salad - but we don't even go to those very often. As much as I love to eat out, sometimes it's easier (and cheaper!!) to stay at home.

Wow! They are going to be bigger than my boys soon if mine don't start eating more again!
