We've sold the last of our strollers. At one point we had four of them. Yes, four! A quad, a triple, a double, and a single! The single left over from when Meredith was little. Then the quad to take all the girls out when Meredith was still little enough to ride most of the time. The triple we mostly used for walks around the neighborhood because it was so big - and more of a jogging stroller (although it was great for a trip to the beach last year!). Then the double was added to use along with the single for trips to the doctors office, where the other bigger strollers wouldn't fit around the corner from the elevator to the door. But as they got older and Meredith didn't want to ride, and now we walk into the doctor's office, and walk around the block... we must make room in the garage for tricycles, bicycles, and scooters! So all that is left is the choo-choo wagon - which I plan to keep for a long, long time! It sits in the back of the van almost all the time and is the only way I can get out with all four girls by myself. One of the best purchases we made! And only $40 used from another triplet family (plus $10 to replace two seatbelts - a neccessity!).
Another sign they are growing up - they are telling me more and more when they have wet or stinky diapers. Just yesterday Amanda said, "I poopy. Change my diaper." I told her just a minute because I was in the middle of helping someone else. Before I could look up again, Amanda was walkin over to me naked from the waist down, carrying her poopy diaper. Yuck! So I guess this means it's about time to start potty training!
