On the way down the stairs this morning, Amanda again commented on my "pink toes". Lately she's been fascinated by my toenail polish. She asked if she could have pink toes, so I told her I'd paint them after breakfast. Then I showed her our selection of nail polish, which includes various shades of pink, a purple, and a yellow. Of course Amanda asked for purple! While I was painting her toenails, Claire asked for yellow toes and Melissa asked for pink toes. And their wish was granted:
Next it was Meredith's turn. 30 toes down, 10 to go! Meredith requested a brighter pink, which the three little girls wanted too as soon as they saw Meredith with it! So after painting Meredith's toenails and fingernails, I took polish off 30 toes and painted 30 more. 70 toes in all, and 10 fingers painted this morning!
What's next... earrings!!??

You are so good- I totally would have just painted over the other colors with the darker pink and nobody would have been happy.
